Who you are buying from
PrismSnips is made and sold by SnapAction LLC (“we”, “us”). Payment is taken by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for the sale. Lemon Squeezy charges your card, handles sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipt and licence key. Their terms also apply to the payment itself.
What you are buying
A one-time purchase of the PrismSnips desktop application for macOS and Windows, at the price shown at checkout. There is no subscription and no recurring charge from us.
- Your purchase includes a licence key that activates the app on one computer at a time. You can move the licence to another computer from the app’s settings menu.
- The app runs on your own computer. We do not cap how many clips you make.
- Updates are not promised as part of this purchase.
You bring your own AI key
PrismSnips needs an Anthropic API key, which you create and pay for yourself. Anthropic bills you directly for that usage; it is separate from the price of the app and is not something we collect or control. If your key stops working or runs out of credit, the app cannot select clips.
Your videos and your rights
You are responsible for having the right to use the videos you put into PrismSnips, and for whatever you publish from them. We do not review, host or moderate your footage.
No refunds
- All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any products or services under any circumstances once a transaction has been completed.
- By making a purchase you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood and accepted this no-refund policy.
- No exceptions will be made, including but not limited to claims of dissatisfaction, accidental purchases, or changes in personal circumstances.
Nothing here removes rights you have by law that cannot be waived. Where consumer law in your country gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, that law applies regardless of this section. Lemon Squeezy, as merchant of record, may also refund a payment under its own policies.
Licence and what you may not do
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use PrismSnips. You may use it for commercial work. You may not resell, rent out or redistribute the app, share your licence key, or try to defeat the licence check.
No warranty
PrismSnips is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will produce any particular result. We make no claim about how your clips will perform on any platform.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with PrismSnips is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost footage, or other indirect or consequential loss.
Ending the licence
We may disable a licence key that was obtained fraudulently or through a reversed or disputed payment. The app checks your licence periodically and will stop working if the key is disabled.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use PrismSnips after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
